1. What's the issue?

In Mexico, around 21 million children and adolescents are affected by various forms of violence, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse. Among them, 9.1% experience severe abuse, leading to their placement in shelters.

2. What is Hope in Motion International doing?

Since 2018, Hope In Motion International has been committed to transforming lives. Each month, we support approximately 100 children and teenagers across five shelters in Mexico.

3. Where does Hope in Motion provide support?

Currently, Hope in Motion International partners with two Casas Hogar and one Education Center in San Miguel de Allende, as well as two Casas Hogar in Comitán de Dominguez, the fourth-largest city in Chiapas.

4. What programs does Hope in Motion International offer?

Mental health: We provide individual and group psychotherapy for children and young adults in four shelters.
Education: We offer vocational courses, mentoring sessions for youth aged 15 and older, and university scholarships for young adults.
Physical health: We assist with ophthalmological consultations, dental health, and physical therapies for mobility.
In addition to these areas, we also provide nutritional support, contributing to the purchase of food for two Casas Hogar, ensuring that the children receive adequate and appropriate meals.

5. How can I help Hope in Motion?

You can help by participating in our events, making donations, volunteering, or spreading the word about our work. We are always open to new ways of collaborating to support the
youth.
